Android Application Development & iPhone Application Development - What Platform is to choose?

Having an idea of getting your game or app developed? Getting confused on choosing the right platform for your game or app? This article will make it easy for you. I will provide enough information so that you can choose the right platform for your app or game development, and trust me it is not always easy to decide between Android Application Development and iPhone Application Development. I hope this Article will be of some help to you.

So far what seems to be a one sided game is no longer going to play out the same. Google has come long way around and it seems they are aiming right. After bit of a failure and slow pace development with Nexus one, Google has thrown enough resources to make sure Apple does not lure the market alone. With some really good hardware and nice looking devices Android seems to be back in the race. With Android Apps Development on rise there are now more apps and games to purchase from Google Market, both paid and free ones. Apple has not done less though, with steady updates on its hardware and also with astonishing display and processing powers they achieved 25 Billion downloads, which is a record for anything that has been download from any market so far. And with increase in iPhone App Development, it is going to increase.

As I am a developer, one thing is for sure which I can tell you, iPhone Apps Development is lot easier then Android App Development. Not in regard to development language but with respect to development environment. Apple has done great job, and we developers are quite happy about it. So obviously development something for iPhone is going to take bit less time than in Android, and those who tell it’s the same then either they are lying or they do not know what they are doing. I am not kind of writer who likes to cut short the stuff, so it will take some more words to give you complete scenario and verdict, but to give you a hint I can tell you that there are still more iPhone and iPad sold than any other single device like them. And wait there will be revolution coming in them too.

I will provide more info in next part of this article of what to choose from iPhone Application Development and Android Application Development, and will provide you with the verdict for what I think you can go for. Till than Chao!!!

iPad Game Development or iPhone Game Development Where you want your Game Idea to be?

One simple question asked by most of our clients and what we are answering the most at Morpheous. For which device should I want my game idea to be converted, for iPhone for iPad? What I need to choose, iPad Game Development or iPhone Game Development? Here I am going to discuss all this and hope that it will be helpful for you to decide on what you want to choose at the time you want your game idea converted to reality.

Apple has recently launched new iPad and with it the highest resolution device which is not only great in reading the books but also minds blowing for gaming thanks to its high resolution and graphic processing capabilities. With 3D processing tech going high and making it for devices like iPad a very good game console which you can take everywhere and play games you like. And so does the iPhone. But the question is which one is best one? So, when you need to select from iPad Game Development and iPhone Game Development, what will you select? For which you want your games to be published? Well, we all know that iPad sales are record breaking in Q4 last year, but iPhone did well too. So, as per the numbers iPhones are sold more than iPad and also have more apps and games on store then it is for iPad. This increases its sell more.

If you need to set priority between iPad Game Development and iPhone Game Development, then I should suggest you better go with iPhone first. Going for both is always good, but if you don’t want to spend all at the same time, you can go for iPhone. There are sure other factors then having more devices and also higher number of downloads and more reach ability, like type of game and does it really need better screen size for more comfortable game play and if it does, then you better go for iPad Game Development and later on have it developed for iPhone. Make sure you have it clear before you get the development start and also plan out the strategy if things need to be changed when you have your iPad Game converted to iPhone Game via iPhone Game Development.

We expect sales of new iPad will increase and so as the apps and games available for the same. We will take-on this topic again for iPad Game Development and iPhone Game Development and see if the scenario has been changed.
