iPhone 4 App Development: Top 5 Crazy, Wacky, And Weird Apps For Your iPhone 4

iPhone 4 is packed with marvelous features, and the combination of the iPhone 4 and the iOS 4 made it possible for an iPhone OS 4 developer to create incredible apps. This year, iPhone 4s application development has given us celebrated game apps like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja; traveling apps like Kayak and Google Earth; entertainment apps like Kindle and NetFlix; social apps like Skype and Twitter; music apps like Pandora and SoundHound; and lifestyle apps like Mint and Lose It.

But while most programmers and companies focus on developing an app that fulfills some vital need, there is always some or other iPhone OS app developer who wants to make full use of use of all the advanced features of the new iPhone 4 and the iOS 4 to create apps that serve no real purpose. The result is an insane application that no one care about. Or, in rare case, a lucky iPhone OS 4 developer comes up with a crazy app that finds favor with millions of smartphone users. Lets take a look at five of the craziest, weirdest and wackiest results of iPhone application development 2011.

iVooDoo
You don't need to buy a doll to remotely wreck havoc upon your enemies: iVooDoo allows you to select between different types of doll and pins. Name the doll and stick pins in it!

Honey It's Me!
This app targets lonely men, and it can be argued that this app fulfills an important need - if what you need is a virtual girlfriend calling you up with sweet recorded messages. You will see the video of a Korean model who will ask you about your day, what you ate and other stuff. It is supposed to make you feel less lonely! Good luck.

Kiss Me
This is the perfect app for people who love their iPhones. Download this app and you have the best excuse for kissing your iPhone. Kiss the screen and the app will rate your kiss!

Hang Time
If you like to throw your expensive iPhone in the air and catch it, this app is for you. It has simple rules: you throw the app really high, and the app will record the 'hang time'. It uses the advanced accelerometer to find out how long your mobile hung in the air.

Hold The Button
This is perhaps the most boring 'game' app ever. One wonders whether the iPhone OS 4 developer who created this app is an idiot or a genius. All you are supposed to do is turn on the app and press your iPhone screen for a very long time. The time of your 'hold' will be registered and you can compare it the time registered by other online users!

iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development With Client's Perspective Part - 2

As discussed in my previous article we have covered information on giving iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development to a company and getting regular updates and also getting the best cost and timeline for the development. As for those who have not read it, I am discussing all this with Mr. Robert and owner of sports consultancy firm and interested in getting his ideas converted into reality. We will cover his iPhone Game Development experience and also what he feels about the overall experience of development.

I asked him that as this was an idea what he is sharing, wasn't he afraid of losing it or afraid of getting it misused? Robert Said "Morpheous is pretty serious company when it comes to intellectual property security and rights. Even before I mentioned anything, after I sent them first Email, they contacted me with attached NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) this made sure this is the right team to work with. " What NDA make sure is that your idea and whatever data or information you share with the developing company is secure and they are bound to the agreement with according to law and cannot misuse or give it to anybody else. Once you get it signed for iPhone Apps Development or iPhone Game Development, it applies to all you do not need to be specific; it applies on any information or idea you share with developing company.

I asked, is iPhone Game Development different from iPhone App Development? What are the pre-requisites? "It is bit different then application development, you need to short list few things before you make forward with hiring a team. First and most important thing is what type of graphics you want? 2D / 3D in the game? Another thing is what type of game you think your idea gets convert into? RPG / Action / Arcade etc.? This will be important for Developer Company to know and also when you will upload the game on App Store." I asked him what type of cost we are looking for and timeline? He said" it will ne surely bit higher than normal iPhone Application Development, and also iPhone Game Development timeline would also be more. But still all depends on the game features and what amount and what type of designing needed. As my game is still in beta phase, it took about 3 months to get it developed."

I hope this information will vitalize the imaginations and idea you have in, which you want to get converted into the reality. Will come back with more of my views on the same and provide you more information which you can use when getting your mobile apps or games developed.
